# Awal-LM v1.8 (Gemma-2-2B) ⵣ

**Awal-LM** is the first open-source Large Language Model fine-tuned specifically for the **Tamazight** language using the Tifinagh script. 

### Key Improvements in v1.8:
- **Base Model:** Upgraded to Google's Gemma-2-2B.
- **Precision:** Fine-tuned with Unsloth for better performance.
- **Dataset:** Trained on custom Tamazight instructions.
- **Status:** Experimental (Work in Progress).

### Usage:
You can use this model with `unsloth` or `transformers` library.
