Why won't it give me a realistic replication of a medical x-ray? what exactly am I doing wrong?

LOLvis changed discussion title from a realistic black and white replica of a medical X-ray of a human hand. Black background with glowing translucent x-ray image of hand tissue and bones to FRUSTRATED: Why is it refusing to follow my simplified prompt? "create a realistic replica of a medical X-ray of a human hand"??? what am I doing wrong, guys? please help

I've tried over and over and I don't know what I'm failing to include in the prompt:
"a realistic replica of medical x-ray of a human hand. Black background with illuminated translucent tissue and opaque bone in hand"

I'm new to this so what exactly am I doing wrong?

Hi LOLvis, do these help?

x-ray of a hand, highres kodak dicom medical imaging
x-ray of a human hand, in the style of highresolution kodak dicom medicalphotography
x-ray of a human hand, highresolution kodak dicom medicalimaging

Sometimes it is good if you can find a piece of jargon that narrows down your intention for the model, like "DICOM"

I got curious and played around with this more. I went off and used a Claude model and said "I want to extend the concept of forcing the model around by saying things like DICOM." Instead of trying to tell it, "you are an x-ray technician working at a hospital", I want to force the issue by prompting with pieces of jargon that x-ray technicians use. To satisfy the jargon, the model will be backed into a corner and will be forced to generate images with the signifiers or visual tropes of an x-ray. It's like working backwards. This is what I came up with:

positive prompt: hand-xray reference anatomy, metacarpal phalangeal joints, pentadactyl manus, radiographic penetration, bone density imaging, 55kVp 5mAs
negative prompt: painting

pentadactyl is an attempt to force it to do the correct number of fingers by using the medical language that would describe an x-ray of a hand with five fingers

It's still weird-- much closer though, right?

There are probably ways to force more photographic textures.
